Scale Play

Warning: This sounds bad. But I've always wanted to play with these ideas, and this is a nice tool for doing it.

Press the "Go" button and you'll hear C, D, E, F, and G, and then a C major chord. C, E, and G are recordings. D and F are sampled by scaling up one semitone (1.12246 ratio) from the C and E respectively. It works. Kinda. Interesting to figure out why it doesn't and how to do it better.

You'll need SamplesExtension to make this work.

Re: Scale Play - and more

This version has two scripts. One does a scale, filling in D and F from C, E, and G. The second one takes a single sound and plays it all the way up the scale, by re-sampling the sound -- great fun!
