GP 055 still freezes if one tries to load a file from a directory outside GP-directory.
(Windows 10, actual update)

I believe this is a character set issue on WIndows. GP is expecting file names to be correct UTF8, but the MING libraries are not converting between character sets correctly.

However, I did make GP more tolerant of badly-formed UTF8, which fixed the freeze issue.
