EDIT
Day later - I've just discovered right-clicking and undrop :)
/EDIT

But leaving this here anyway :)

I don't know how this would be to implement but...

Summary
Can a method, say shift-click draging instead of click-dragging, be implemented to prevent complex collection of blocks inadverntabley inserting themselves into other blocks laying around

Issue
Click-dragging and droping into worng place is the block equivalent of making daft syntax errors -e.g if in a rush - then its going to happen

In simple Scratch programs, undo-ing the mess is usually straight forward (but can still be problemtical for some Scratchers)

In GP - problem is magnified as we are building more complex block structures and more complex programs so undoing the damage can be quite challenging

An undo facility would go a long way to helping out with this but maybe shift-dragging could be implemented so that blocks will not insert themselves when mouse-button released and just lay the blocks on top of the script
