I think the "stop all" block might do what you want. It stops all scripts except for the calling script. This allows the calling script to do some cleanup or perhaps restart the project.

The related "stop" block stops just the script that calls it.

A "stop all and" stop" block would help but I can't find any such blocks - which category are they in?

I am very bad at finding items in cupboards in the physical world as well

But I've always wanted a "when Red Stop is pressedl" block in Scratch so I was hoping to get one in GP :)

Ying and Yang :)

Those two stop blocks are in the "Control" category.

You can look for blocks by name by clicking on the little search box above the palette. Just type the first few letters of the block you are looking for, such as "sto" and it will give you a menu of blocks that match. When you select a block from the menu, you not only get a copy of the block you can use, but GP also opens the category in which the block was found, since there may be other useful blocks in that category.

GP has so many blocks, the "Find" box is really useful.

I really don't know how I missed them - must visit Opticians again! :)

(I think, sub-consciously, I was looking for a block with a red stop sign on on it! #LOL

Been Scratching too long :)
