Boolean Button

I wasn't a fan when it was introduced into Snap :)

but at least you could tell what it meant by looking at it :)

The shortened version in GP doesn't:

A: Look very nice - looks like a bit of smudge - But maybe I just need new glasses :)

B: Leap out at what it means

The Snap one is clearer and self-explanatory

Hi, Simon.

The nice thing about having a boolean widget is that you can toggle it with the mouse. But I agree, there are a few problems with the current boolean widget:
  1. it's not obvious that you can drop a reporter block into a slot with a built-in boolean widget, like "if"
  2. It's hard to discover the boolean constant block in the "Operators" category, or to recognize it for what it is.
As you say, the Snap version has a text label, making it easier to recognize. We might change GP to use that design, or perhaps try a design with a "true/false" dropdown menu.

That would get my vote :)
