And lo and behold - my Win10 machine at home window fails as well - today must be a bad day for it!
No amount of resizing seems to want to bring it back to life

Got the blank screen again today - happened after I increased vertical size of main window to fill down to bottom off screen - no amount of work got it back - had to close using console X button
